At this time the, the family of the deceased will hold an &#8220;unveiling&#8221;, which usually includes another eulogy or speech remembering the deceased. The tomestone is covered with a white linen cloth which is removed during the ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The anniversary of a close relative&#8217;s death is called the <em>yahrzeit<\/em>, a Yiddush word whose literal meaning is &#8220;time of year.&#8221; This is a time when it is particularly praiseworthy for the family members to take an <em>aliyah<\/em> or say <em>Kaddish<\/em> in service.
